Call Me Queen - Premiere

Call Me Queen is a powerful 2026 drama film directed by Emily Atef, set in Nairobi during the 1999 AIDS crisis. Based on Lara Santoro’s novel Mercy, it follows the deep bond between a Rwandan single mother (Eliane Umuhire) and an Irish journalist (Denise Gough) as they fight against pharmaceutical companies and systemic injustices for life-saving medical treatment.
